Programs
    The Air University Foundation supports the following programs:

• Distinguished Lecture Series sponsoring distinguished speakers and lecturers to broaden and challenge the view of students and  faculty on issues relating to national security.

• National and international symposia relating to air and space power and national security.

• Research and publication on issues of critical importance  to the Air Force, the country, and the world.

• Educational technology improvement leading to improved use of technology in the education process at the Air University

No government funding is provided to the foundation; it relies entirely on contributions from individuals, corporations, and other foundation.  The Air University Foundation is incorporated in the state of Alabama and is a nonprofit tax-exempt organization in accordance with Section 501(C)3 of the internal revenue code.

As the financial resources provided through formal government
channels continue to shrink, the support provided from the foundation will become increasingly important.
